Clinical Observation on the Treatment of Chronic Heart Failure With Compound Danshen Dripping Pills Combined With Atorvastatin Calcium
Objective To investigate the effects of compound Danshen dripping pills combined with atorvastatin calcium on cardiac function and cytokines in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods A total of 92 CHF patients who visited Ji′ning Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from August 2020 to August 2022 were selected for the study.They were divided into two groups using a random number table method,with 46 patients in each group.The control group was treated with atorvastatin calcium tablets,while the observation group was treated with compound Danshen dripping pills on the basis of the control group.Evaluation was conducted after 3 months of treatment.The two groups′ clinical efficacy,cardiac function,cytokines,vasoactive substances,and adverse reactions were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group(95.65%)was higher than that in the control group(80.43%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in heart function,cytokines,and vasoactive substances between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).Compared with control group,the left ventricular ejection fractions(LVEF)after treatment in the observation group was higher,and the left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD)were lower,six minute walk distance(6MWD)was longer,soluble growth stimulating expressed genes protein 2(sST2),galectin-3 levels,endothelin-1(ET-1),angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ)and brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)levels were lower(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in adverse reactions between the observation group(13.04%)and the control group(10.87%)(P>0.05).Conclusion The use of compound Danshen dripping pills and atorvastatin calcium in the treatment of CHF patients can improve cardiac function,regulate serum cytokine levels,inhibit the generation of vasoactive substances,and have high safety.
