Donabedian Effect of Quality Theory Intervention Mode on Vascular Access Complications in Hemodialysis Patients
Objective To investigate the effect of the intervention model of Donabedian quality theory on the incidence of vascular access complications in patients on hemodialysis undergoing vascular access. Methods A total of 160 hemodialysis patients admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University from December 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects,These 160 hemodialysis patients were divided into control groups(n=80,routine care intervention)and the observation group(n=80,the donabedian quality theory intervention on the basis of the control group).Activity of daily living scale(ADL)and incidence of vascular pathway complications in two groups of hemodialysis patients were compered. Results After the theoretical quality intervention in hemodialysis patients undergoing vascular access, the ADL score of the observation group[(40.48±3.97)points]was significantly lower than the control group[(44.07±2.51)points](P<0.05).The overall incidence of vascular access complications in the observation group(2.50%)was significantly lower than the control group(11.25%),the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The intervention mode using Donabedian quality theory for hemodialysis patients undergoing vascular access can improve daily living ability and reduce vascular access complications.
