The Effect of Different Doses of Mifepristone Combined With Triptorelin in the Treatment of Uterine Fibroids
Objective To analyze the efficacy of different doses of mifepristone combined with triptorelin in the treatment of uterine fibroids.Methods A total of 80 patients with uterine fibroids admitted to the department of gynecology,Danba Changzheng Orthopedics Hospital from January to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,each with 40 cases.The control group received treatment with triptorelin injection and conventional dose mifepristone tablets,while the observation group received treatment with triptorelin injection and low-dose mifepristone tablets.The treatment efficacy,serum sex hormone levels,and uterine and fibroid volume of two groups of patient were analyzed.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 97.50%(39/40),while in the control group was 77.50%(31/40),the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of estradiol(E2),progesterone(P),luteinizing hormone(LH),and follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the volume of the uterus and fibroids in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of different doses of mifepristone and triptorelin can significantly improve the total effective rate of treatment for uterine fibroids,regulate the patient's endocrine level,and reduce the volume of the uterus and fibroids.
