The Influence of Root Cause Analysis Method 3C Nursing on the Effectiveness of Nursing Quality Control in Disinfection Supply Centers
Objective To explore the impact of the 3C nursing model using root cause analysis in the disinfection supply center's nursing management process on reducing the incidence of nursing defect events and quality control effectiveness. Methods Disinfection supply center,Fujian Provincial Hospital began applying the root cause analysis method to 3C nursing management on June 1,2022,and analyzed the quality of nursing management work in this area before and after implementation for one year(from June 2021 to June 2023).Results Evaluate the quality of nursing management before and after implementation. After implementation, the scores for environmental management(93.01±3.11)points,safety management(94.15±1.86)points,item management(92.11±1.86)points,and inspection management(93.46±1.58)points were significantly higher than those before management(82.14±2.34)points,(81.45±1.86)points,(83.45±1.45)points,and(80.05±2.34)(P<0.05).500 patients were randomly selected from two observation periods, and the incidence of nursing defect events after implementation was 0.20%,lower than the 5.00%before implementation(P<0.05).The hospital infection rate after implementation was 1.00%,lower than the control group's 9.40%(P<0.05).After implementation, the satisfaction rate with the nursing work of the disinfection supply center was 98.00%,which was higher than the 92.00%before implementation(P<0.05).Compared with the two time periods, the satisfaction of survey subjects with the nursing work of the disinfection supply center was higher after implementation than before(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of root cause analysis in 3C nursing management in the daily nursing management process of disinfection supply centers can reduce the incidence of nursing defect events, improve quality control effectiveness, and play an important role in improving the quality of nursing work in disinfection supply centers.
