Clinical Effect of Load Dose Clopidogrel on Patients With Transient Ischemic Attack
Objective To explore the clinical effect of load dose clopidogrel on patients with transient ischemic attack(TIA).Methods A total of 88 patients with TIA admitted to Xiamen Fifth Hospital from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected. The study group(n=44)and the control group(n=44)were divided into two groups by random number table method. The two groups were treated with vasodilators and neuroprotective drugs. The control group was treated with conventional dose of clopidogrel, and the study group was treated with load dose of clopidogrel. The clinical efficacy, neurological function, prognosis and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the study group(95.45%)was higher than that of the control group(79.55%)(P<0.05).After 1 and 2 weeks of treatment, the National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)score of both groups decreased(P<0.05),and the NIHSS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group after 1 and 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).The modified Rankin scale(mRS)score was lower in 2 groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the score in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the study group(6.82%)and the control group(11.36%)(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of patients with TIA with load dose clopidogrel has definite clinical effect, which can effectively improve the neurological function and prognosis, and will not increase the adverse drug reactions,This reflects the execution standards of Chinese Expert Consensus on the Treatment of Transient Ischemic Attack and Mild Stroke with Antiplatelet Therapy.
