Analysis of the Causes and Countermeasures of Multiple Cases of Acute Infectious Enteritis Caused by Colonoscopy
Objective To analyze the causes of multiple cases of acute infectious enteritis caused by colonoscopy and propose relevant optimization strategies. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 120 patients who received colonoscopy in Tengzhou Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital,Shandong Province from January 2020 to December 2022.The number of patients with acute infectious enteritis was counted, the causes were analyzed, and the relevant countermeasures were put forward. Results The incidence of acute infectious enteritis was 6.67%(8/120).In the statistical results of the types of pathogenic bacteria in acute infectious enteritis, the proportion of Staphylococcus aureus was 50.00%(4/8),Shigella was 37.50%(3/8),and Salmonella was 12.50%(1/8).In the statistical results of the causes of acute infectious colitis,37.50%(3/8)of the patients had inadequate hygiene of the examination equipment,25.00%(2/8)of the patients had non-standard examination procedures,25.00%(2/8)of the patients had inadequate hygiene before and after the examination, and 12.50%(1/8)of the patients had contamination with intestinal cleaning agents. Conclusion During the process of colonoscopy, there is a risk of acute infectious colitis occurring, common reasons include substandard hygiene of inspection equipment,non-standard inspection operations, inadequate hygiene before and after inspection, and contamination of intestinal cleaning agents. It is necessary to strengthen the improvement and optimization measures for these reasons to enhance the safety of colonoscopy.
