Establishment and Application of Standard Operating Procedures for Surgical Beach Chair Position
Objective To study the establishment and application of standard operating procedures(SOP)for surgical beach chair position(BCP).Methods A convenient sampling method was used to select 16 patients with shoulder arthroscopic surgery admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from October to December 2020 as the control group,and 16 patients admitted from January to March 2021 as the observation group based on the principle of equivalence.The control group was placed in the usual surgical position.The observation group placed SOP for surgical BCP.The positioning time,team cooperation familiarity and doctor satisfaction of the two groups were compared,and the SOP for surgical BCP were evaluated.Results The positioning time of the observation group was(471.81±52.41)s,which was shorter than that of the control group(719.13±66.94)s(P<0.05).The satisfaction of surgeons in observation group was higher than that in control group,and the cooperation familiarity score of surgical team was higher than that in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in satisfaction between the two groups(P>0.05).The team members had a high degree of acceptance for the SOP evaluation of BCP.Conclusion The establishment and application of SOP for surgical BCP make the surgical position nursing standardized,standardized and homogenized,and effectively improve the nursing quality and work efficiency in the operating room.
