Effect of Tracheal Intubation With Visual Laryngoscope in Pre-Hospital First Aid of Critically Ill Patients
Objective To analyze the effect of tracheal intubation with visual laryngoscope in pre-hospital emergency treatment of critically ill patients. Methods The clinical data of 96 critically ill patients admitted to Xuzhou City Hospital of TCM from May 2021 to May 2023 were analyzed retrospectively, and were divided into two groups according to the different pre-hospital emergency tracheal intubation.Among them,46 patients who underwent ordinary laryngoscope tracheal intubation were included in the control group, and 50 patients who underwent visual laryngoscope tracheal intubation were included in the observation group. The operation, hemodynamics and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The success rate of intubation in the observation group was 98.00%,which was higher than 82.61%in the control group(P<0.05).The intubation time in the observation group was(34.59±4.36)s,and the exposure time of the glottis was(4.71±0.54)s,which was shorter than the control group's(47.21±6.83)s and(7.59±1.69)s(P<0.05).The number of intubation times in the observation group was(1.58±0.36),which was less than the control group's(2.44±0.53)times(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 4.35%,lower than the control group's 19.57%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in heart rate(HR)and mean arterial pressure(MAP)between the two groups before and after intubation(P>0.05).During intubation, the HR and MAP of the observation group were(77.05±6.89)times/min and(97.19±11.06)mmHg,which were lower than those of the control group(94.71±9.65)times/min and(112.57±13.67)mmHg,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Tracheal intubation with visual laryngoscope is effective in pre-hospital emergency care of critically ill patients, which can improve the success rate of intubation, reduce the intubation time, have little impact on patients'hemodynamics, and have fewer complications.
