Evaluation of the Impact of Incentive Management on the Work Quality of Nursing Staff
Objective To evaluate the impact of incentive management on the work quality of nursing staff.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 13 nurses who implemented routine management in the department of pediatrics,Children's Hospital Affiliated to Shandong University from January to December 2021 as the control group,and 12 nurses who implemented incentive management in the department of pediatrics,Children's Hospital Affiliated to Shandong University from January to December 2022 as the observation group.nursing staff in 2 groups were compared.Results The personal achievement score of observation group was(39.87±4.12)points,which was higher than that of control group(33.37±3.90)points.The scores of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization in the observation group were(23.34±3.86)points and(9.12±1.34)points,respectively,which were lower than(30.96±5.17)points and(14.40±1.32)points in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The utrecht work engagement scale(UWES)score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The occupational benefit score of observation group was higher than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing level score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The core competency score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Incentive management has a positive impact on improving the work quality of nursing staff.It can reduce the professional burnout of nursing staff and improve their work engagement,sense of professional benefit and nursing level.
