Clinical Effect of Shixiaosan Modified Combined With Western Medicine in the Treatment of Calculous Renal Colic
Objective The aim of this paper was to explore the clinical effect of Shixiaosan modified combined with western medicine in the treatment of calculous renal colic.Methods A total of 60 patients with calculous renal colic diagnosed and treated in the department of emergency,Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture Chinese Medicine Hospital,Yunnan Province from April 2020 to February 2022 were entered into the study.According to the different treatment plan,they were divided into 2 groups with 30 cases each.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the observation group was treated with Shixiaosan modified on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,pain score,stone clearance rate,stone removal time and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.67%,higher than that of the control group(80.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the pain score of the observation group was(1.54±0.23)points,which was lower than that of the control group(2.83±0.36)points,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The stone clearance rate of the observation group(90.00%)was higher than that of the control group(66.67%),and the stone expulsion time of the observation group was(5.87±2.16)d,which was shorter than that of the control group(8.49±2.83)d,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of Shixiaosan modified with western medicine can relieve the pain of patients with calculous renal colic,promote the removal of stones,avoid the recurrence of pain,and has a good safety.
