"Internet+" Whole Course Nutrition Management System for Chemotherapy Patients Application in Gastric Cancer Patients With Chemotherapy
Objective To observe the effect of the"Internet+"based whole-course nutrition management system on the quality of life and nutritional status of patients with gastric cancer chemotherapy.Methods A total of 100 patients with gastric cancer receiving chemotherapy in the Department of Oncology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from June 2020 to December 2021 were selected.The Department of Oncology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University established a multidisciplinary nutrition support specialist team in March 2021.The members include doctors and nurses at all levels,and make full use of the advantages of the Internet to implement the whole-course nutrition support management for patients with chemotherapy in the Department of Oncology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University.From June 2020 to February 2021,50 patients with gastric cancer undergoing chemotherapy before the establishment of the nutrition whole-process management system were set as the control group and received routine nutrition support management.A total of 50 patients with gastric cancer chemotherapy after the establishment of the nutrition whole-course management system from March to December 2021 were set as the observation group,and the personalized nutrition whole-course management for cancer chemotherapy patients based on the background of"Internet+"was implemented.Then the nutritional status and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups.Results After the intervention,Subjective nutrition assessment for cancer patients(PG-SGA)scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before the intervention,the PG-SGA in the control group was significantly worse than that in the observation group(P<0.05).The body mass index(BMI)(18.59±2.60)kg/m2,serum albumin(33.00±5.01)g/L and hemoglobin level(110.00±18.02)g/L of control group were lower than those of observation group of BMI(20.65±1.51)kg/m2,serum albumin(38.00±8.00)g/L and hemoglobin level(135.00±20.01)g/L(P<0.05).The Karnofsky score of the control group(75.77±7.01)points was significantly lower than that of the observation group(81.59±7.21)points(P<0.05).Conclusion The whole-course nutrition management system for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy based on the background of"Internet+"can be applied to the process of chemotherapy for gastric cancer patients,which can significantly improve the nutritional status and quality of life of patients.
