The Effect of Cervical Circular Resection and Colposcopy on the Quality of Life of Patients With Precancerous Lesions of the Cervix
Objective To explore the effects of cervical circular resection and colposcopy on the quality of life in patients with cervical precancerous lesions. Methods A total of 102 patients with cervical precancerous lesions who visited People's Hospital of Shaodong from January 2022 to February 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 51 cases in each group, using a dice rolling method.Control group was used Loop electrochemical procedure(LEEP),observation group was used LEEP under colposcopy. The surgical and postoperative recovery, quality of life(WHO quality of life brief scale-10,WHO QOL-10),complications,and recurrence rates between two groups were compare. Results The comparison of surgical/postoperative recovery between the two groups showed that the observation group was better(P<0.05).Comparison of WHOQOL-10 scores in various dimensions between two groups of patients before surgery(P>0.05).Six months after surgery, the scores of all dimensions in both groups were higher than before surgery, and the observation group was better than before(P<0.05).Compared with the control group(15.69%,19.61%),the observation group had lower incidence of complications(1.96%)and postoperative recurrence rate at 6 months(3.92%)(P<0.05).Conclusion LEEP and colposcopy are used to treat cervical precancerous lesions.Patients recover quickly after surgery, with fewer relapses and fewer complications, improving their quality of life.
