The Effect of Pushitai Tablets on Postoperative Urodynamics in Patients With Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
Objective To investigate the effect of Pushitai tablets on postoperative urodynamics in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia. Methods A total of 80 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia at the Affiliated Suzhou Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with Pushitai tablets combined with surgery, while the control group was treated with transurethral button plasma prostatectomy alone. The urodynamic parameters, quality of life scores, disease efficacy, and postoperative complications between two groups were compared. Results The residual urine output of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, but the maximum flow rate and bladder compliance urodynamic indicators were higher(P<0.05).The quality of life in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the total treatment efficiency(95.00%)was higher than that in the control group(70.00%)(P<0.05).The incidence rate of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia, the use of Pushitai tablets combined with surgery can improve urodynamic parameters, improve quality of life, reduce postoperative complications, and increase the cure rate for benign prostatic hyperplasia.
