Application of Standardized Skin Management in Skin Damage Caused by Radiotherapy for Breast Cancer
Objective To explore the application effect of standardized skin management in skin damage caused by radiotherapy for breast cancer.Methods A total of 108 patients with breast cancer who received radiotherapy in the department of tumor radiotherapy,Quanzhou First Hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected and divided into the control group and the research group by lot drawing,54 patients in each group.Patients in the control group were given routine skin care,while patients in the study group were given standardized skin management intervention.The degree of skin injury,nursing effect,time of skin injury appearance and repair were counted and compared between the two groups.The quality of life of patients in the two groups before and after nursing was compared with quality of life questionnaire:core 30(QLQ-C30),and the nursing satisfaction of the two groups was compared.Results The skin grade of patients with acute radiation injury in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The effective rate of skin care in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The appearance time of skin injury in the study group was later than that in the control group,and the repair time was earlier than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Before nursing,there was no significant difference in QLQ-C30 scores between the two groups(P＞0.05).After nursing,the psychological,physiological,social and overall health scores of QLQ-C30 in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group(98.15%vs.81.48%)(P＜0.05).Conclusion Adding standardized skin management to the skin care of patients with breast cancer undergoing radiotherapy has the effects of improving skin injury,delaying the injury process,promoting skin repair and improving the quality of life of patients,and the patient's nursing satisfaction is high.
