Analysis of the Quality Results Between Two Types of Sampling Methods of Leukocyte-Reduced Red Blood Cells in Additive Solution
Objective Analysis the quality indicators of leukocyte-reduced red blood cells in additive solution and discuss the application of the split bag sampling mode in order to provide the quality of blood products and save blood resources. Methods Retrospective analysis the quality results of leukocyte-reduced red blood cells in additive solution from January 2020 to May 2022,and the differences between the two sampling methods were compared. Results The qualified rate of appearance hemoglobin content、end-stage hemolytic rate and bacterial detection in both sample groups were 100%,the qualified rate of volume, hematocrit and residual quantification of leukocyte in the split bag sampling group were 97.87%,100%and 96.81%,the qualified rate of volume and hematocrit in the whole bag sampling group were 93.33%and 97.78%,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in hematocrit and total hemoglobin concentration between the split bag sampling group and the whole bag sampling group(P>0.05).The hemoluminescence rate at the end of storage was(0.23±0.18)%,which was higher than that of whole bag sampling group(0.11±0.07)%(P<0.001).Conclusion Using the split bag sampling mode to complete the blood quality sampling can save blood resources, accurate detection results and we strictly control all key control points during the blood collection and preparation process,in order to provide sufficient and safe blood products for clinical use.
