Analysis on the Current Situation and Influencing Factors of College Students'Cognition of Voluntary Blood Donation
Objective To explore the cognitive status and influencing factors of college students'voluntary blood donation.Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted on the cognition status of unpaid blood donation among college students in Qingdao with a total of 842 valid participants.Results Out of 842 people,375 had an upper level of cognitive level in voluntary blood donation,and 467 had a lower level of cognitive level.Through univariate analysis,it was found that there were significant differences in gender,age,whether there was blood donation experience,whether family members had blood donation experience,whether they were medical professionals,whether schools had incentive policies,and those with lower levels of community and school publicity and cognition among those with higher levels of voluntary blood donation(P<0.05).Logistic multiple factor regression analysis showed that the main factors affecting college students'cognitive level of unpaid blood donation were whether they had donated blood,whether their family had donated blood,whether they were medical professionals,whether the school had incentive policies,and community and school publicity(P<0.05).Conclusion The cognitive level of unpaid blood donation among college students is influenced by multiple factors,and it is necessary to strengthen joint education between universities and society,strengthen publicity and encouragement,in order to promote the sustainable and healthy development of unpaid blood donation among the college student population.
