Analysis of Laboratory Detection Results of Human Brucellosis in Xiangcheng District,Zhangzhou City From 2012 to 2023
Objective To investigate and analyze the causes and epidemic characteristics of brucellosis outbreak in Xiangcheng District,Zhangzhou City in 2012,the results of surveillance sites for three consecutive years and brucellosis cases from 2016 to 2023,so as to provide a strong basis for predicting the epidemic trend and scientific prevention and control of brucellosis. Methods Field epidemiological investigation, human brucellosis surveillance, sampling, sentinel hospital surveillance and laboratory serological test tube agglutination(SAT)were used to investigate and treat brucellosis and its epidemic situation in Xiangcheng District. Results A total of 479 serum samples were detected from 2012 to 2015,and the positive rate of bruceopathy antibody was 4.87%,14.43%(14/97),3.33%(5/150),1.72%(2/116),0%(0/116)in each year.90 serum samples were detected in sentinel hospitals, and the positive rate of bruceopathy antibody was 24.44%,46.67%(14/30)in 2013,16.67%(5/30)in 2014 and 10.00%(3/30)in 2015.Between 2016 and 2023,there were 9 confirmed cases. There were 2 cases in 2016 and 1 case each in 2017-2023.Conclusion The outbreak of human brucellosis in the Xiangcheng District,Zhangzhou City in 2012 was mainly related to the slaughter, processing, purchase and sale of livestock. After the treatment of the epidemic, the positive antibody rate continued to decrease year by year. Therefore,it is necessary to continue to strengthen the tracking and monitoring of animal and human brucellosis, strengthen the publicity and education, strengthen the comprehensive prevention and control, and strictly prevent the epidemic of human brucellosis.
