Study on Improving Pregnancy Experience and Outcome of Primipara by Delivery Ball Combined With Free Position
Objective To explore the clinical value of combined application of delivery ball and free posture for primiparas, and analyze the influence of combined intervention on maternal pain, sense of delivery control and pregnancy outcome. Methods A total of 102 primiparas who delivered from August 2021 to October 2022 in the department of obstetrics,Quanzhou First Hospital were choosed and seted as the research object, and randomly divide the patients into the study group and the control group by envelope method. The patients in the control group received routine perinatal intervention, and the women in the study group carried out delivery ball with free posture midwifery. Two groups of puerperal bleeding volume, the time difference of the first stage of labor, the second stage of labor and the third stage of labor were compared. The difference of parturient pain score between the two groups was evaluated by McGill pain questionnaire short-form(MPQ),and the difference of parturient control sense between the two groups was evaluated by the delivery control scale, and the difference of adverse delivery outcome between the two groups were compared. Results The amount of postpartum hemorrhage, the first stage of labor, the second stage of labor and the third stage of labor in the study group were(180.23±20.98)mL,(400.92±121.89)min,(35.28±10.12)min and(5.10±1.21)min respectively, which were lower than those in the control group of(205.23±23.19)mL、(513.18±132.11)min、(41.89±11.23)min and(6.18±1.54)min(P<0.05).The scores of visual analogue scale, speech response scale and pain intensity scale in the study group were(6.23±1.32)points,(20.01±6.23)points and(2.32±0.56)points,which were lower than those in the control group(7.13±1.56)points,(25.63±5.18)points and(3.01±0.96)points(P<0.05).The score of parturient control in the study group was(165.86±20.16)points,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(146.35±16.89)points(t=12.516,P<0.001).The incidence of fetal heart rate deceleration and fetal asphyxia in the adverse delivery outcome of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference 5 min Apgar score 5 minutes after delivery between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of delivery ball combined with free position midwifery in primiparas can help to improve the pain symptoms of primiparas, accelerate their labor process, improve their sense of delivery control, and reduce the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes such as fetal asphyxia to a certain extent, which has good promotion and application value.
