Study on the Correlation Between Glycolipid Metabolism and Endometrial Carcinoma
Objective To investigate the correlation between glycolipid metabolism and endometrial carcinoma. Methods A total of 50 cases of endometrial dysplasia and 50 cases of endometrial cancer admitted to the department of gynecology, the Fourth Hospital of Baotou,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from January to December 2017 were selected as the case group, and 100 cases of endometrial simple hyperplasia or polypoid hyperplasia were selected as the control group. The indexes of glucose and lipid metabolism were detected. Results The age of patients in the case group(63.45±4.35)years old, fasting blood glucose(6.99±2.41)mmol/L,triglycerides(3.85±0.24)mmol/L,low-density lipoprotein(4.25±0.38)mmol/L,high-density lipoprotein(1.52±0.47)mmol/L,uric acid(282.56±85.62)μ mol/L,body mass index(BMI)(24.56±1.55)kg/m2,and cholesterol(4.98±0.17)mmol/L were all higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Blood glucose, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein, high density lipoprotein, uric acid and other metabolic indicators have a certain correlation with the occurrence and development of endometrial cancer. For people with related risks, attention should be paid to and control of these metabolic indicators to reduce the risk of endometrial cancer.Maintaining healthy glucose and lipid metabolism is of great significance for preventing the occurrence of endometrial cancer.
