A Survey on Job Satisfaction of Medical Staff in a Top-Tier Hospital and Analysis of Influencing Factors
Objective To investigate the job satisfaction of all medical staffin Tianjin Chest Hospital and analyze the influencing factors.Methods A sample questionnaire survey was conducted among all the medical staffworking in Tianjin Chest Hospital in June 2023,including personal basic information,job satisfaction and work pressure.logistic regression analysis was performed on the survey results to analyze the influencing factors affecting the job satisfaction of medical staff.Results A total of 562 questionnaires were sent out and 540 valid ones were collected,with an effective response rate of 96.09%.The overall satisfaction score for medical staff was(3.78±1.41)points,with a general satisfaction rate of 68.0%.The highest satisfaction was found in the job itself(74.4%),while the lowest was in income(58.0%).In terms of work pressure,the smallest pressure came from interpersonal relationships(1.16±0.45)points,while the largest came from heavy workload and less rest time(3.12±1.24)points.Logistic regression analysis showed that marital status,work pressure,years of service,title,and frequency of night shifts all had an impact on job satisfaction(P<0.05).Conclusion The overall job satisfaction level of medical staffin Tianjin Chest Hospital is acceptable,but attention should be paid to the issue of low satisfaction,so as to improve the job satisfaction of medical staff.
