Progress in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Alzheimer's Disease
Alzheimer's disease(AD)is a very common degenerative disease in the nervous system, which has become a major disease posing a huge threat to human health due to its high number of cases, the proportion of exacerbation of the disease, the possibility of death and the great pressure on the body.Although the current treatment of AD can only alleviate its symptoms and cannot completely reverse its progression,in the past five years, there have been significant breakthroughs in both the initial identification of AD and the use of drugs. This has made it a major research topic in China's brain science program and related fields around the world. In the context of China's increasingly rapid aging population, the number of elderly people is rising, and the prevalence of AD is also increasing every year.AD will undoubtedly cause significant health stress in many countries, communities and families. This article reviews the research progress of drugs, cognitive training, therapy, traditional Chinese medicine, and dietary therapy in the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's disease, and provides a reference for clinical and scientific research to choose appropriate methods to delay or control the progression of AD.
