Comparison Analysis of Different Thyroidectomy for Differentiated Thyroid Cancer
Objective To analyze the difference in intervention effects between subtotal thyroidectomy and total thyroidectomy in differentiated thyroid cancer. Methods A total of 76 patients with differentiated thyroid cancer admitted to Zibo Maternal and Child Health Hospital from July 2017 to July 2020 were selected as the study samples, and were randomly divided into group A and group B using a random number permutation table method, with 38 cases in each group.group A patients underwent total thyroidectomy intervention, while group B patients underwent subtotal thyroidectomy intervention. The total effective rate of treatment, amount of bleeding during surgery, surgical time, hospital stay, and incidence of complications between two groups of patients were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in group A was 97.37%,which was higher than 81.58%of group B(P<0.05).The hospitalization time of group A was(6.51±1.03)days,while that of group B was(6.57±1.09)days,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).The amount of bleeding during surgery in group B was(93.20±5.11)m L,which was more than(50.19±3.56)mL of group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The surgical time for group B patients was(112.57±6.98)minutes,which was longer than(70.96±4.87)minutes of group A(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in group A was 36.84%,higher than 13.16%of group B's(P<0.05).The postoperative drainage volume of group A was(30.34±4.43)mL,which was lower than(43.12±4.86)mL of group B(P<0.05).The extraction time of drainage tube in group A was(3.34±0.23)days,which was shorter than(4.10±0.29)days of group B(P<0.05).Conclusion Total thyroidectomy can improve treatment efficacy, reduce intraoperative bleeding, and shorten surgical time in patients with differentiated thyroid cancer. However, there are many postoperative complications,so it is necessary to choose a reasonable surgical method based on the patient's actual situation.
