Effect of Non-Invasive Ventilator Combined With High-Flow Oxygen Therapy in AECOPD Complicated With Respiratory Failure
Objective To discuss the clinical effect of non-invasive ventilator combined with high-flow oxygen therapy(HFNC)in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)and respiratory failure. Methods A total of 92 patients with AECOPD and respiratory failure admitted to the department of respiratory medicine,Yankuang New Journey General Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were divided into control group(n=46)and observation group(n=46)according to different treatment methods. The control group received non-invasive ventilation treatment, while the observation group received non-invasive ventilation combined with HFNC treatment. The incidence of complications, reintubation rate, blood gas indicators before and after treatment, lung function, and serum biochemical indicators between two groups of patients were compared. Results The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.52%,which significantly lower than the 21.74%in the control group(P<0.05).The reintubation rate in the observation group was 2.17%,higher than the control group's 8.70%,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The differences in blood gas indexes, lung function and serum biochemical indexes between patients before treatment were small(P>0.05),and the improvement of blood gas indexes, lung function and serum biochemical indexes in the observation group after treatment was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Non-invasive ventilator combined with HFNC has a good control effect on the condition of patients with AECOPD and respiratory failure, and can improve their lung and respiratory function,so it has high clinical promotion value.
