Clinical Effect of Modified Endoscopic Mucosal Excision on Gastrointestinal Polyps
Objective To explore the clinical effect of modified endoscopic mucosal excision in patients with digestive tract polyps. Methods A total of 90 patients with gastrointestinal diseases in department of gastroenterology,Nan'an Hospital were selected from May 2021 to May 2023 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, each with 45 cases. The control group was treated with endoscopic mucosal electrodesiccation, while the observation group was treated with modified endoscopic mucosal extraction. The treatment effect, surgical indexes, recovery time, quality of life and treatment satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%,which was higher than the control group's of 68.89%(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.67%,lower than the control group's of 22.22%(P<0.05).The surgical indicators and recovery time in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The quality of life score and treatment satisfaction of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Mucosal excision in patients with digestive tract polyps can shorten the length of hospital stay, reduce the incidence of complications, and promote the improvement of patients' quality of life, which has significant clinical application value.
