Study on Gastric Cancer Screening Behavior and Influencing Factors in First-Degree Relatives of Patients With Gastric Cancer
Objective To analyze the influencing factors of gastric cancer screening behavior in first-degree relatives of patients with gastric cancer.Methods From September 2022 to June 2023,a total of 374 first-degree relatives of patients with gastric cancer in Ziyang First People's Hospital were investigated by self-designed attitude and behavior questionnaire,parallel process questionnaire for gastric cancer expansion and general data questionnaire to analyze the situation of gastric cancer screening and explore the influencing factors of gastric cancer screening behavior.Results Among 374 first-degree relatives of gastric cancer patients,96(25.67%)completed gastric cancer screening.Income,medical insurance,place of residence,risk factor cognition,perceived severity,perceived susceptibility and perceived self-efficacy were the main influencing factors of gastric cancer screening behavior in first-degree relatives of patients with gastric cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion First-degree relatives of patients with gastric cancer have low risk factor cognition and risk perception,low perceived self-efficacy,and low screening rate of gastric cancer.It should focus on strengthening the health publicity of gastric cancer related knowledge among low-income and rural groups,improve the cognition and perceived self-efficacy of first-degree relatives of patients with gastric cancer,and effectively improve the screening rate of first-degree relatives of patients with gastric cancer,so as to prevent and treat gastric cancer more effectively.
