Application of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Combined With Acupoint Massage in Post-Stroke Dysphagia
Objective To explore the clinical value of transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with acupoint massage in stroke patients with swallowing disorders. Methods A total of 80 patients with stroke and swallowing disorders admitted to the department of rehabilitation, the Second People's Hospital Affiliated of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected. They were randomly divided into a study group and a control group, with 40 cases in each group, using the random touch ball method. The control group received routine rehabilitation nursing and acupoint massage nursing intervention, while the experimental group received combined transcranial magnetic stimulation technology on the basis of the control group.Treatment efficacyand drinking water test score in the depression field between two groups were analyzed and compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical effective rate of the experimental group(97.5%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(77.5%)(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the scores of the Wada drinking water test between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).After treatment, the scores of both groups decreased, and the swallowing ability of patients in the experimental group was significantly improved. The Wada drinking water test score was(1.76±0.24)points,significantly lower than(3.06±0.55)points of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with acupoint massage in the rehabilitation of stroke patients with swallowing disorders is helpful in improving swallowing ability compared to conventional rehabilitation nursing combined with acupoint massage, and has high clinical value.
