A Survey on Urinary Control Ability and Self-Care Ability of Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy for Prostate Cancer
Objective To investigate the status of urinary control ability and self-care ability of patients undergoing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, and to analyze the influencing factors, aiming to improve the self-care status and quality of life of patients. Methods A convenient sampling method was used to select 140 patients undergoing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy in a tertiary hospital in Jinan City from January to November 2023,using the general information questionnaire, exercise of self-care agency scale(ESCA)and learned helplessness scale,LHS)conducted a questionnaire survey of the selected patients. Results The ESCA score for urinary control ability of 140 patients undergoing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy from January to November 2023 was(74.87±7.79)points,and the LHS score was(78.21±11.92)points.Variables with statistically significant differences in univariate and Pearson correlation analyses were included in the multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that age, education level, monthly household income, duration of illness, family support for treatment, prostate cancer stage, previous experience with laparoscopic surgery, and LHS were influencing factors for the ESCA score of urinary control ability in patients undergoing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy(P<0.001).Conclusion The ESCA level score of urinary control ability in patients undergoing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy is lower to middle, which is more common and the incidence is very high. The clinical reference of the scoring standards of urology of the national key clinical specialty is reflected in this paper, and the results of this paper provide reference for improving the urinary control ability of patients undergoing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. As nursing staff, intervention measures should be formulated according to the influencing factors of ESCA's urinary control ability in patients undergoing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, and the relationship between urinary control ability ESCA and LHS in patients undergoing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, aiming to improve the urinary control ability ESCA in patients undergoing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, and further improve the prognosis and quality of life of patients.
