Analysis on Management Strategies for Strengthening Risk Prevention Awareness of Pediatric Nursing Staff
Objective To explore the management strategies and effects of strengthening the risk prevention awareness of pediatric nursing staff.Methods A study was conducted on 30 cases of nurses who working in the department of pediatric respiratory,Children's Hospital Affiliated to Shandong University from January to December 2021,and 30 nurses from March 2022 to February 2023,respectively,they were divided into the control group and the study group.The control group stage implemented routine nursing management,while the study group stage implemented risk management in nursing management.The occupational exposure injury incidence rate was counted and compared between the two groups of nurses,the satisfaction with nurses's own safety protection were investigated and compared between the two groups,and the self-protection knowledge,behavior,fatigue,work pressure,workplace mindfulness and occupational satisfaction scores were compared between the two groups of nurses.Results The total incidence of occupational exposure injury was 6.67%in the study group,which was lower than 26.67%in the control group(P<0.05).The overall satisfaction rate of the study group nurses with their own safety protection was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The self-protection knowledge,belief,and behavior scores,workplace mindfulness scores,and occupational satisfaction scores of the study group nurses were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05),while the fatigue scores and work stress scores of the study group nurses were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing risk management in the nursing management of pediatric respiratory medicine can improve nurses'self-protection awareness and beliefs,reduce their occupational exposure injury risks in nursing work,make them more satisfied with their own safety protection,reduce nurses'fatigue and pressure,and enhance their workplace mindfulness and professional satisfaction.
