Research on Continuing Education of Hospital Administrators From the Perspective of Organizational Behavior
Objective To understand the willingness and ideas of administrators'continuing education,explore the causes of its influence and improvement strategies,and provide references for hospital administrators'capacity enhancement and career development.Methods From October 24 to November 4,2022,the"Questionnaire Star"electronic questionnaire was used to investigate the professional background,management research and continuing education of 163 hospital administrators in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University.Based on the perspective of organizational behavior,suggestions were put forward to improve the willingness and effect of continuing education for hospital administrators.Results The team of hospital administrators presents the phenomenon of higher education level and younger,and the professional background was more diversified,and the staffsequence accounts for the highest percentage among hospital administrators,reaching 66.26%(108/163).Researchers were more willing to continue education,and 74.23%(121/163)of them plan to or were improving their abilities through on-the-job doctoral study.More than half of the administrators were more willing to study in the direction of management.The overall management research foundation of the surveyed personnel was relatively weak,showing polarization.Conclusion According to the local conditions and materials,dynamically adjust the strategy of continuing education for hospital administrators,and promote the high-quality internal development of hospital management with the construction of a professional administrative team.
