Effect of Improved Sitting Position Baduanjin Training on Prognosis of Elderly Patients With Mechanical Ventilation
Objective To explore the impact of improved sitting position Baduanjin training on elderly mechanical ventilation patients.Methods A total of 60 elderly patients with mechanical ventilation were selected from the department of critical care medicine,Jiangbin Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from December 2021 to December 2022.According to different nursing methods,they were divided into control group and observation group,with 30 cases each.The control group received specialized nursing intervention with mechanical ventilation,the observation group received an improved sitting position of Baduanjin for intervention training on the basis of the control group.The time of antibiotic use,the time of mechanical ventilation and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results The antibiotic use time and mechanical ventilation time of the observation group were(15.13±3.14)d and(14.13±1.96)d,which were shorter than(18.70±3.96)d and(17.70±3.42)d of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of delirium in the observation group was 3.33%,which was lower than 26.67%in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in the occurrence of adverse events between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The improved sitting position Baduanjin training can improve lung function,shorten mechanical ventilation time,reduce the occurrence of delirium.
