Application Value of Laparoscopic Assisted Radical Gastrectomy in the Treatment of Gastric Cancer
Objective To analyze the application value of laparoscopic assisted radical gastrectomy in the treatment of gastric cancer. Methods A total of 110 patients with gastric cancer in the department of gastrointestinal surgery,General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected and divided into two groups by systematic random sampling, with 55 cases in each group. The control group underwent laparotomy and the observation group underwent laparoscopically assisted radical gastrectomy. The differences in various indicators between two groups were compared. Results The observation group had a longer surgical time[(212.4±20.6)min]than the control group[(176.4±30.6)min],intraoperative blood loss and incidence of postoperative complications[(250.3±23.6)mL,1.8%]were lower compared to the control group[(330.6±35.6)mL,14.6%].The incision length, ambulation time and hospitalization time[(3.5±0.6)cm,(36.6±4.2)h,(8.6±2.2)d]were shorter than those of the control group[(8.8±1.2)cm,(45.6±5.8)h,(11.4±3.6)d],the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before surgery, there was no statistically significant difference in CRP and IL-6 levels between the two groups(P>0.05).After surgery, the CRP and IL-6[(26.5±5.2)mg/L,(65.3±5.3)pg/mL]in the observation group were lower than those in the control group[(58.5±8.6)mg/L,(78.5±10.6)pg/mL],the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic assisted radical gastrectomy has high efficacy and safety, can reduce the body injury caused by surgery, and promote the early discharge of patients.
