The Application of the Concept of Cycle Quality Control Combined With Risk Management Model in ICU Inpatients
Objective To explore the effectiveness of applying the concept of cycle quality control combined with risk management model in hospitalized patients in the ICU.Methods A total of 335 ICU hospitalized patients who were admitted in the People's Hospital of Shouguang from January to May 2023 were selected as the control group,and routine hospital infection management was implemented.A total of 340 ICU hospitalized patients who were admitted from June to December 2023 were selected as the intervention group,and combination of cyclic quality control concept and risk management model was implemented.The management quality,risk events,hospital infection incidence rate,and patient satisfaction in both groups were compared.Results The terms of management quality(infection monitoring,organizational management,risk assessment,and institutional construction)in the intervention group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of risk events in the intervention group(1.47%)was lower than the control group(4.48%)(P<0.05).The incidence of hospital infection in the intervention group(3.82%)was lower than the control group(7.46%)(P<0.05).The patient satisfaction in the intervention group(98.24%)was higher than the control group(95.52%)(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of cyclic quality control concept and risk management model applied to ICU inpatients can improve management quality,reduce risk events and hospital infections,promote patient satisfaction and reflect the implementation standards of the"Ten Safety Goals of ICU".
