Effect of Modified Bandage Compression Dressing Combined With Targeted Nursing on Upper Limb Lymphedema After Breast Cancer Surgery
Objective To investigate the effect of modified bandage compression dressing combined with targeted nursing on upper limb lymphedema after breast cancer surgery. Methods From January 2020 to December 2022,a total of 80 patients with breast cancer surgery in Quanzhou First Hospital were selected.According to different nursing methods, the patients were divided into the reference group and the experimental group, with 40 cases in each group. The experimental group was treated with modified bandage compression dressing combined with targeted nursing, and the reference group was treated with conventional detumification therapy. The circumference sum of the affected limb, the shoulder function score and the circumference changes of the edema upper limb after the intervention were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in circumference and shoulder function scores between two groups before intervention(P>0.05).After intervention, circumference sum of affected limb and shoulder function scores of two groups were significantly improved(P<0.05),and the improvement of circumference sum of affected limb and shoulder function scores in experimental group was significantly better than that in reference group(P<0.05).The reduction rate of the affected limb in the experimental group was(8.63±0.59)%,the reduction rate of the affected limb was(86.64±3.42)%,the reduction rate of the affected limb in the reference group was(2.58±0.37)%,the reduction rate of the affected limb was(47.48±2.47)%,and the change of the circumference diameter of the edema upper limb in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the reference group after intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion Modified compression bandaging combined with targeted nursing has a very positive effect on the recovery of upper limb lymphedema after breast cancer surgery, which can effectively improve the circumference sum of the affected limb and improve the shoulder function of patients.
