The Effect of Duloxetine in the Treatment of Depression With Insomnia and Its Influence on Emotion and Mood
Objective To explore the effect of duloxetine in the treatment of depression with insomnia and its influence on emotion and mood. Methods A total of 73 patients with depression and insomnia admitted to Shilin Tianqi Hospital, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from January 2017 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects.Based on different treatment methods, the patients were divided into the control group(n=36,treated with mirtazapine)and the observation group(n=37,treated with mirtazapine+duloxetine). The efficacy, emotion and mood, sleep quality and drug safety of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.29%,higher than 72.22%of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of sleep quality evaluation indexes in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)scores of observation group were(35.84±2.43)points and(34.46±2.18)points,respectively,which were lower than(54.67±3.46)points and(53.37±4.42)points of control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of patients with depression and insomnia, duloxetine has a significant therapeutic effect, which can control the development and improve the severity of the condition by improving sleep quality and emotional emotions(depression, anxiety).
