Research on Integrated Nursing Management of Orthopedic External Surgical Instruments and Implants in the Disinfection Supply Room
Objective To explore the effect of integrated nursing management mode in disinfection supply room and its influence on nursing management quality score. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on data from 144 orthopedic external surgical instruments and implants collected by the disinfection supply center of the Liaocheng Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from March 2022 to August 2023.The management process in the disinfection supply center was not optimized from March to October 2022,and was divided into the pre-optimization group(n=74).From November 2022 to August 2023,the management process in the disinfection supply center was optimized and divided into the post-optimization group(n=70).Conventional nursing management was adopted in the pre-optimization group, while integrated care management was implemented in the post-optimization group. The unqualified conditions of orthopedic external surgical instruments and implants in the two groups were compared, and the causes of the unqualified were analyzed.Nursing quality scores and supply quality were compared between the two groups. Results The non-conformance rates of orthopedic external surgical instruments and implants in the post-optimization group were 2.00%and 5.00%,respectively,lower than 9.46%and 34.48%in the pre-optimization group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the proportion of unqualified orthopedic external surgical instruments and implants between the two groups(P>0.05).Safety identification ability, risk prevention awareness, service awareness and nursing quality scores of the post-optimization group were higher than those of the pre-optimization group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The item preparation perfection rate of the post-optimization group was higher than that of the pre-optimization group, and the pick-up time and item replenishment time were shorter than that of the pre-optimization group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the integrated nursing management model in the management of orthopedic external surgical instruments and implants in the disinfection supply center can reduce the unqualified rate and improve the nursing management and supply quality of the disinfection supply center.
