Application of Individualized Enteral Nutrition Support Combined With Intensive Blood Glucose Management in Postoperative Patients With Laryngeal Cancer of Type 2 Diabetes
Objective To investigate the clinical nursing effect of individualized enteral nutrition support intervention combined with intensive blood glucose management in patients with type 2 diabetes laryngeal cancer after surgery. Methods A total of 86 patients with type 2 diabetes who underwent laryngeal cancer surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the study object, and were divided into control group(n=43)and observation group(n=43)depending on the intervention program. The control group was given routine nasal feeding combined with routine blood glucose management. The observation group was given individualized enteral nutrition support intervention combined with intensive blood glucose management. The implementation rate of blood glucose monitoring, blood glucose control effect, incidence of incision infection and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The implementation rate of blood glucose monitoring in the observation group was 96.54%,higher than 88.53%in the control group(P<0.05).The fasting blood glucose compliance rate and 2 h postprandial blood glucose compliance rate of observation group were higher than control group(P<0.05).The observation group incidence of incision infection was lower than control group(P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of observation group was higher than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The nursing effect of individualized enteral nutrition support combined with intensive blood glucose management is significant in patients with type 2 diabetes laryngeal cancer after surgery, which can not only improve the implementation rate of blood glucose monitoring and blood glucose control effect, but also reduce the occurrence of incision infection and improve their nursing satisfaction.
