Objective To explore the effect of tight medical union and matrix medical management mode in improving the quality of hospital diagnosis and treatment and medical safety.Methods By using the methods of literature review,case analysis and comparative study,a total of 8 000 patients from 10 hospitals that implemented the tight medical union and matrix medical management model(experimental group)and 10 hospitals that did not implement this model(control group)were selected as the study objects,make statistics on the indicators of hospital diagnosis and treatment quality from 2019 to 2020,and characteristics and advantages of the compact medical union and matrix medical management mode,as well as its application and practical experience at home and abroad,and to compare the differences and advantages and disadvantages between it and the traditional medical management mode in hospital diagnosis and treatment quality and medical safety.Results The cure rate,mortality rate,recurrence rate,complication rate,satisfaction,waiting time,number of visits,referral rate and follow-up rate after discharge of the experimental group were significantly better than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The incidence of medical error of 0.8%,incidence of medical dispute of 0.3%,incidence of medical malpractice of 0.1%in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(2.1%,1.2%,0.5),the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The compact medical commonwealth and matrix medical management mode is a kind of medical management mode which conforms to the development trend and demand of China's medical and health undertakings.It can effectively improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment and medical safety in hospital,and provide strong guarantee for constructing harmonious doctor-patient relationship and promoting people's health.
