Construction Practice of High-Quality Development of Disciplines in a Large Public Hospital
Discipline construction is the primary task for the development of large-scale public hospitals,and it is the core competitiveness of hospitals.With the gradual deepening of the medical reform,the construction and development of public hospitals have shifted from the development mode of paying attention to the scale effect to the connotative development centred on discipline construction.In recent years,a large public hospital in Huai'an has actively explored new ideas and methods of discipline construction,including taking the pulse of the current situation of disciplines through SWOT analysis,constructing a discipline ranking assessment and evaluation system,constructing a quality evaluation system for basic medical care,standardizing the management of multidisciplinary collaborative diagnosis and treatment,promoting the four major physicians'competence enhancement projects,advancing the construction of discipline platforms,and driving the development of disciplines through performance incentives;at the same time,taking the Gastroenterology as an example,we introduce the practice of discipline development of the department.At the same time,the Department of Gastroenterology is introduced as an example of the practical exploration of the department's disciplinary development,including the establishment of the outpatient digestive disease diagnosis and treatment centre and digestive medicine centre,and the active promotion of technological innovation,and ultimately,the construction of disciplines has achieved remarkable results.The innovative initiatives of discipline construction will continuously improve the management level of the discipline,break through the bottleneck of discipline construction and development,consolidate and enhance the strategic development status of the hospital,and continue to promote the high-quality development of the hospital.
