The Effect of Physical Factor Therapy Combined With Rehabilitation Training for the Treatment of Post-Stroke Shoulder-Hand Syndrome
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of physical factor therapy combined with rehabilitation training on post-stroke shoulder hand syndrome patients. Methods A total of 60 patients with post-stroke shoulder hand syndrome from Dongguan Rehabilitation Hospital from January 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the research subjects.Random number table method was used to compare the control group and observation group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received rehabilitation training alone, while the observation group received physical factor therapy combined with rehabilitation training. The degree of pain, degree of impairment of hand function, ability of daily living, and clinical efficacy were compared between groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.7%,which was higher than 73.3%of the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of visual analog scoring(VAS),self handicapping scale(SHS),Fugl Meyer assessment scale(FMAS),and Barthel index(BI)scores(P>0.05).After treatment, the VAS and SHS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the FMA score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The BI score of the observation group was(72.10±7.90)points,which was higher than that of the control group(65.07±8.50)points(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of physical factor therapy combined with rehabilitation training in patients with post-stroke shoulder hand syndrome can effectively improve their joint mobility, reduce their pain level, and help them improve upper limb activity function.Overall, further large-sample studies are warranted.
