Effect of Prevention and Control Strategies for Pulmonary Tuberculosis on Patients'Medication Compliance
Objective To explore the application effect of prevention and control strategies for pulmonary tuberculosis and its impact on patient medication compliance. Methods A total of 184 pulmonary tuberculosis patients admitted to Dezhou Second People's Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected and divided into 2 groups according to random number table method. The control group(n=92)was given routine intervention, while the observation group(n=92)was given tuberculosis prevention and control strategy on this basis. The disease control effect, disease awareness, medication compliance and complications were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the total disease control rate of the observation group was 93.48%,higher than 72.83%of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the observation group, the main symptom score was(18.13±0.54)points,the inducing factor score was(17.24±1.25)points,the hazard score was(17.93±1.02)points,the symptomatic treatment score was(18.06±0.87)points,the prevention and control score was(17.88±1.03)points and the total score was(90.16±4.32)points,which were higher than(12.61±0.47)points,(12.24±1.36)points,(12.73±1.63)points,(12.51±0.54)points,(12.37±1.61)points,(74.21±3.43)points of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of medication compliance in the observation group after intervention was(6.93±0.85)points,higher than(6.35±0.81)points in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.43%(5/92),lower than 17.39%(16/92)in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The prevention and control strategies for pulmonary tuberculosis can effectively improve the effect of tuberculosis disease control, improve patients'disease awareness and medication compliance, and reduce the incidence of complications.
