Investigation of Human Resources Status of Immunization Program in Shaoyang City in 2022
Objective To understand the current situation of human resources allocation for immunization program in Shaoyang City,and to provide reference to strengthen the construction of immunization program team.Methods In February 2023,a cross-sectional survey and descriptive analysis were conducted on the relevant situation of immunization planners in 13 centers for disease control and prevention and 216 township(street)vaccination units in Shaoyang City.Results A total of 772 staff members engaged in immunization planning in Shaoyang City in 2022,including 9 for city disease control and prevention,52 for county and urban disease control and 711 for township(subdistrict)vaccination units.The number of immunization planners in county and urban disease control agencies and township vaccination units was 0.08 and 1.10 per 10 000 people,respectively.The number of children ≤ 7 years old was 1.11 and 15.24 per 10 000.There were 2.50 and 34.14 people per km2.The immunization staff of county and urban disease control was mainly composed of>29-39 years old,female,<5 years of immunization program work,be on regular payroll,middle,undergraduates,and preventive medicine,accounting for 36.54%,55.77%,34.62%,86.54%,51.92%,55.77%and 38.46%,respectively.Township(street)vaccination units were mainly aged>29-39 years old,female,<5 years of immunization program work,be on regular payroll,junior professional title,college,nursing,accounting for 34.60%,83.54%,50.63%,72.15%,60.90%,46.69%and 60.06%,respectively.Conclusion The human resource allocation of immunization program in Shaoyang City is low,the regional imbalance and the personnel mobility are large,so it is necessary to further rationally allocate and improve the relevant service capacity.
