The Exploration of Visual Analysis of Hot Spots and Trends in Meridian Clinical Research From 2017 to 2023 Based on CiteSpace
Objective The bibliometrics and visual analysis based on CiteSpace 5.6.R2 will explore the development status,hot spots and frontier of traditional Chinese medicine meridian clinical application in China from 2017 to 2023,and provide reference for subsequent research.Methods The literature related to"meridian and collaterals clinical"in the journal database of China national knowledge infrastructure(CNKI)from 2017 to 2023 was retrieved by computer and saved using TXT files.Excel 2016 was used to analyze the trend of publication volume.CiteSpace 5.6.R2 software was used to conduct bibliometric analysis of relevant literatures,including the number of publications,scholars and institutions,keywords,and draw relevant visual maps.Results A total of 195 acupuncture articles were retrieved.The visual analysis shows that the representative researchers and their teams were mainly ZHOU Wei,LIU Sen and their partners.In general,the cooperation between different units was relatively scattered.The high-yield institution was Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine[3.59%(7/195)]and Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine[3.59%(7/195)].In the clinical application of all meridians,guiding acupuncture and chronic eczema were the hot spots,and insomnia and scraping were the latest research.Keyword cluster analysis mainly focuses on acupuncture therapy,clinical research,meridians,clinical observation,clinical efficacy,heat-sensitive moxibustion,clinical experience,etc.Conclusion The graph preliminarily shows that the meridian clinical field is in the period of vigorous development from 2017 to 2023,with inheritance and innovation.Through the atlas,it preliminarily and intuitively shows the development context,research hotspots and frontier trends of this field from 2017 to 2023,and reveals that insomnia and scraping will be important research directions for the clinical application of meridians in the future.
