The Application of High kV Photography Combined With Digital X-Ray Photography in Pneumoconiosis Patients and Its Impact on Grade 1 Film Rate
Objective To explore the application value of high kV photography combined with digital radiography(DR)in the diagnosis of pneumoconiosis. Methods Retrospective analysis of imaging data of 80 patients with pneumoconiosis admitted to Tai'an Public Health Medical Center from January to October 2023,all of whom underwent high kV photography and DR examination. The diagnostic results of the two examinations, single examination and combined examination were determined. The quality of chest X-rays,average time of examination, and distribution of small shadows in the lung area were compared under different examination methods. Results The positive rate of pneumoconiosis detected by high kV photography combined with DR examination was 100%,which was higher than that of single high kV photography(62.50%)and DR examination(90.00%)(P<0.05).The first level chest X-ray rate of DR examination was 93.75%,higher than 72.50%of high kV photography, and the average imaging time was(6.97±1.26)minutes,which was shorter than(14.26±4.35)minutes of high kV photography examination(P<0.05).DR examination showed better display of small shadows in the lung area compared to high kV photography examination(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of DR in the diagnosis of pneumoconiosis can achieve good chest X-ray image quality, accurately detect small shadow density, and combined with high kV photography, accurately diagnose and stage pneumoconiosis, reducing the risk of misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.
