Comparison of MRI and CT Features and Diagnostic Value of Hepatocellular
Objective To explore the imaging features of hepatocellular carcinoma and the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging(magnetic resonance imaging,MRI)and CT.Methods A total of 90 liver disease patients admitted to the Third People's Hospital of Yongzhou from January 2022 to December 2023 were collected,47 cases(52.22%)of hepatocellular carcinoma and 43 cases(47.78%)of benign lesions were confirmed by pathological examination. All patients were examined by MRI and CT,and their diagnostic efficacy was compared and analyzed. Results Taking pathological examination as"the gold standard",the diagnostic sensitivity of CT in hepatocellular carcinoma was 76.60%,followed by accuracy 71.11%,positive predictive value 70.59%and specificity 65.12%.The diagnostic sensitivity of MRI for hepatocellular carcinoma was the highest(93.62%),followed by the accuracy of 90.00%,the positive predictive value of 88.00%and the specificity of 86.05%.The diagnostic indexes of MRI were higher than those of CT(P<0.05).CT and MRI images showed enhanced features in arterial phase, and weakened enhancement was observed in portal vein phase, with low density change as the main feature, which was characterized by fast in and fast out. Conclusion MRI is better than CT in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma, and can guide the clinical diagnosis of this disease better.
