Analysis of Influencing Factors on Nursing Service Satisfaction of Urology Patients in a Tertiary Hospital
Objective To explorethe effect of nursing service satisfaction among hospitalized patients in urology,providing reference for improving patient satisfaction.Methods A total of 5 062 inpatients in the department of urology surgery,the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from January 2022 to August 2023 who met the inclusion criteria were selected as the study subjects.The anonymous survey was conducted using the satisfaction questionnaire customized by the nursing department,and the data was statistically analyzed.Results The average percentage of satisfaction with urological nursing services was(96.81±0.69)%.Compared the total satisfaction scores among different genders[(77.58±6.07)points,(76.77±7.27)points],ages[(77.41±6.62)points,(77.69±6.18)points,(77.12±6.57)points],and educational levels[(77.29±6.58)points,(77.44±6.31)points,(77.25±5.94)points,(76.35±6.74)points],the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the dimensions of nursing service satisfaction in terms of gender and age(P<0.05).Univariate analysis of ward factors was carried out on nursing service satisfaction,which showed that the average infusion volume per patient[(77.76±0.60)points,(77.43±0.33)points,(76.99±0.54)points],the proportion of daytime surgeries[(77.64±0.54)points,(77.13±0.49)points],and the average number of nursing patients on night shifts[(77.62±0.50)points,(77.03±0.52)points]were compared,and the differences were statistically siginificant(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that,the ward factors such as per capita infusion volume and the average number of nursing patients on night shifts were the influencing factors of nursing satisfaction(t=-2.794,-2.508,P=0.015,0.045).Conclusion Nursing staff should pay attention to the needs of different types of patients and provide personalized nursing services.Nursing leaders should pay attention to the workload and manpower situation of the department,and have reasonable and flexible scheduling to improve overall nursing satisfaction.The research results of this article provide reference for improving the satisfaction of hospitalized patients with nursing services and formulating high-quality nursing standards in the later stage.
