Effects of Visual Therapy Training on Visual Function in Children With Oblique Amblyopia
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of visual therapy training in children with oblique amblyopia and its effect on the recovery of visual function. Methods A total of 150 children with oblique amblyopia who were treated in the department of ophthalmology,Longyan First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University from January 2020 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by odd and even form,75 cases in each group. The control group received conventional treatment, and the observation group received visual therapy training. The clinical therapeutic effect of 2 groups of children was analyzed. Results After treatment, the sensitivity and amplitude of binocular adjustment in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the lag of binocular adjustment was lower than that in control group (P<0.05). The near strabismus, far strabismus and average strabismus in observation group were lower than those in control group (P<0.05). Far vision, movement and light sense, adjustment ability, reading fine work, daily living ability and overall score of observation group were higher than those of control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.33%,which was higher than 81.33% of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The visual therapy training for children with oblique amblyopia, can play a positive role in promoting the recovery of binocular regulation function and visual function of children, and help to improve the quality of life of children, and has a good treatment effect of oblique amblyopia.
