Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Baofukang supposition combined with interferon on cervical human papilloma virus (HPV) infection.Methods A total of 82 patients with cervical HPV infection diagnosed and treated in Pizhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from May 2022 to November 2023 were randomly divided into Baofukang suppository group and combined drug group with 41 cases each according to different treatment regimens.The Baofukang suppository group was given Baofukang suppository treatment,and the combined drug group was given Baofukang suppository treatment with interferon.HPV negative conversion rate,clinical efficacy,immune function index,inflammatory index and adverse reaction were compared between the two groups.Results The HPV negative conversion rate and total effective rate (92.68％,95.12％) in combined treatment group were higher than those in Baofukang suppository group (75.61％,80.49％),and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The immune function indexes of combined drug group were better than those of Baofukang suppository group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The inflammation indexes level of combined drug group was lower than that of Baofukang suppository group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the combined treatment group (9.76％) was lower than that in Baofukang suppository group (29.27％),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Baofukang suppository and interferon in the treatment of cervical HPV infection can improve the negative rate of HPV and clinical efficacy,enhance the immune function of patients,reduce the inflammatory response,and have good safety.
