The Effect of Atorvastatin on Arrhythmia in Coronary Heart Disease and Its Impact on Cardiac Function
Objective To explore the efficacy of atorvastatin in treating coronary heart disease arrhythmias and its effect on improving cardiac function. Methods A total of 80 patients with coronary heart disease and arrhythmia admitted to Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities from October 2022 to April 2024 were selected as the study subjects.Based on different treatment methods, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablets, while the observation group was treated with metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablets combined with atorvastatin. The treatment effects, cardiac function improvement, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared and observed between the two groups. Results The effective treatment rate of the observation group was 97.50%,which was higher than the control group's 80.00%,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the hemorheological indicators of the observation group, including whole blood high shear viscosity, whole blood low shear viscosity, plasma viscosity, and red blood cell aggregation index, were (4.01±0.54) mPa·s,(8.18±1.04) mPa·s,(1.07±0.35) mPa·s,and (2.14±0.21),respectively,which were significantly lower than those of the control group (4.76±0.87) mPa·s,(9.63±1.26) mPa·s,(1.63±0.41) mPa·s,and (2.72±0.32),with statistical significance (P<0.05).After treatment, the left ventricular ejection fraction in the observation group was (60.22±5.14)%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group (51.17±4.85)%,the left ventricular end systolic diameter and left ventricular end diastolic diameter in the observation group were (40.03±4.04) mm and (46.52±4.63) mm,respectively, which were significantly lower than those in the control group (44.76±4.39) mm and (52.35±5.84) mm,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of interleukin-6,C-reactive protein, and tumor necrosis factor-α in the observation group were (4.41±1.13) pg/mL,(5.05±1.12) mg/L,and (6.11±2.42) ng/L,respectively,which were significantly lower than those in the control group (6.05±1.08) pg/mL,(7.96±1.51) mg/L,and (8.82±2.71) ng/L,with statistical significance (P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 5.00%,which was lower than the 25.00% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of coronary heart disease arrhythmias, atorvastatin has a significant therapeutic effect, can improve treatment effectiveness, improve heart function levels, and has low adverse reactions and high medication safety.
