Analysis of Testing Results for Drinking Water in Jiyang District,Jinan City From 2021 to 2023
Objective To analyze the results of urban and rural drinking water testing in Jiyang District from 2021 to 2023,systematically understand the basic hygiene status of drinking water, and provide basis and technical support for strengthening drinking water safety management. Methods According to the "Jinan Urban and Rural Drinking Water Quality Monitoring Work Plan",8 streets (including townships) in Jiyang district of Jinan city were selected as monitoring towns. From 2021 to 2023,a total of 60 domestic drinking water samples were collected in Jiyang district of Jinan city for three consecutive years, and iron, manganese, copper, and zinc contents were measured and analyzed. Results The content of iron, manganese, copper, and zinc in the monitored drinking water in the town was within the national standard range in 2021 and 2022,meeting the hygiene standards for drinking water. In 2022,the content of iron and manganese has an increasing trend, but it was still within the standard limit. In 2023,the iron content of two monitoring sites (10%) exceeded the limit range (0.30 mg/L),namely 0.370 mg/L for 2023S008 and 0.420 mg/L for 2023S0019. Conclusion The drinking water within the monitoring points has not been contaminated with manganese, copper and zinc, but the iron content has been increasing year by year, which may pose risks and should be taken seriously.
