Application Value of Urine Sediment Method,Dry Chemical Method and Combined Detection in the Detection of Urine Components
Objective To investigate the application value of urine sediment method, dry chemical method and traditional microscopic examination in the detection of urine tangible components. Methods A total of 80 patients admitted to the department of nephrology,Longyan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2021 to February 2023 were selected for urine detection. All patients underwent urine sediment method, dry chemical method and traditional microscopy. Using the traditional microscopic examination results as the "gold standard",the detection rate of urine tangible components by urine sediment method, dry chemical method and combined detection, the consistency of the three methods with the "gold standard" results and the diagnostic efficiency of liquid detection were analyzed. Results Among the 80 patients, the traditional microscopic examination results were used as the "gold standard",and 70 patients were confirmed to have visible urine components and 10 patients were not. The diagnostic criteria of urine sediment detection and traditional microscopic examination results were in acceptable agreement (Kappa=0.507). The diagnostic criteria of dry chemical detection and traditional microscopic examination were in acceptable agreement (Kappa=0.657). The diagnostic criteria of combined detection and traditional microscopy were in good agreement (Kappa=0.836). The diagnostic coincidence rate, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of combined detection were 96.25%,97.14%,90.00%,81.82% and 98.55%,compared with single urinary sludge method (88.75%,92.86%,60.00%,54.55%,94.20%) and dry chemical method (92.50%,95.71%,70.00%,70.00%,95.71%),with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion Both urine sediment method and dry chemical method can detect urine formation, and the combined detection has higher diagnostic value.
